Charlene's Angels
Capacity:
54 children aged 3-6 years old.
Preschool's Vision:
To promote good quality Education in our community to all children from ages of 18 months to 6 years.
Principal's story: Charlene
In 1999 I finished off in the catering business. My son was 2 years old and I wanted to do the ECD training so
that I could equip him.
Friends and family approached me and asked me to look after their children and I started a centre in my spare bedroom. Every year I took another room somewhere on the property for my ECD centre. I never advertised my centre, everything was word of mouth. I equipped myself by studying further. There were lots of challenges but I persevered and today Charlene’s Angels are my pride and joy. Just knowing, when you see that child, that you can make a difference in their life keeps me going. Their smiles, childlike nature and compliments just make my day.

We need fundraising champions. Get creative – run a marathon on your front yard, host a virtual high tea, do something amazing and encourage your friends and family to change the world through early learning.
We rely on volunteers to lend a helping hand when teachers are off sick. To work in the classroom you need an up-to-date security check.
